I have 2 Rouen hens, I am letting them collect a clutch of eggs in one of their duck nesting boxes. I was wondering how likely Rouens are to go broody. I have not let them gather up any eggs until now and I usually just let my Muscovies go broody when I need a broody bird but I only have 1 Muscovy hen right now and she is an awful mother, she poops on her eggs and I have to force her off the nest at least twice a day and wait for her to poop. I have been asking a lot of broody questions on here lately for this reason. Also, these two hens are extremely close to one another, when one hen goes to lay an egg the other goes and sits by her side and waits for her to finish and when they get separated they call really loudly to one another until they get back together. What would happen if one hen went broody and the other did not? They are both laying in the same spot, what will happen if they both go broody?
