Yes, the boys will rasp quietly, while the girls are the only ones who can "quack". The easiest way is to catch one at a time and start walking away with it. It will protest loudly and let you know the gender. As you go through them, I band the legs, one color for boys, one color for girls. The bands stay on until I can tell gender by feathers.
