Acquired these two about 6 weeks ago and they were supposed to be about 3 months old then. Gandalf (bigger one) was supposed to be a roo and Arwen was a hen. Now not sure either way. No crowing or other Roo signs from either of them. Thoughts?

Which one?

Either or both. And I can't articulate why I think so because I normally rely on the saddle feathers for any birds over about 12 weeks. It's an indefinable impression, which could be wrong.

Can you get closeup photos of the saddle feathers -- with your hand or a piece of paper under them so that the true shape can show despite the shredding?

Thanks. Yeah the Saddle feathers look less pointy than I would expect for a Roo that is 18-20 weeks old.
