I'm on day 3 of fenbendazole. These are round worms right? Initially they looked round but now a few look flat (maybe dehydrated) or are they tapeworms?

I really think it is a tapeworm. They can come out whole or in segments. Fenbendazole will not help rid tapeworms. You need something with praziquantel, such as Equimax or Zimectrin Gold horse pastes, or Drontal tablets. Dosage for Equimax is 0.03 ml per pound of weight (or about 0.16 ml for a 5 pound hen,) given orally and repeated in 10 days. If you use one of the other medicines, let me know and I can find the dosage as they are different. Chewy.com sells drontal tablets.

If they are tapeworms, why would I suddenly see them after treating with fenbendazole?

A product with praziquantel is what you need. It costs about $17 at some feed stores compared to $48 for Valbazen. I use Valbazen for routine worming, but for tapeworms, get Equimax or one of the others.
How do measure such a small amount? I have 1ml syringes. Also, should I stop the fenbendazole? I was debating about going to day 5. We have treated now for 3 days. I will also try and get a fresh stool pic in the morning.

Nevermind, I'm slow lol. My 1ml syringe will work.
Ok so I also have 9-14 week old chicks that travel the same ground as the big ones. Should I be dosing them too? My almost 6 weekers are out there also, but they are in a smaller area. And again, I will try to get a fresh stool pic in the morning.
