Round worms, right?

I would narrow it down to the chicken(s) who lay the dropping with tapeworm segments. Do you have a picture? Are you planning to use praziquantel this time twice over 10-14 days?
I didn't take a pic,but it was definitely tapeworm segments. Little moving white pieces.
I didn't see which chicken laid it. It had to be one of the mature birds though because the younger ones are too afraid to leave the run.
I tried checking all poop in the coop and didn't find anymore with segments.
And yes. My tsc has the zimecterin gold in stock.
I have just had never ending issues lately 🤦
Still dealing with some respiratory stuff in one bird, bumble foot still in 3 birds. And now definitely someone with tapeworms. Everyone is otherwise acting normal (eating, drinking, laying), we get an average of 7 eggs per day from 11 layers.

Equimax is less expensive. The dosage is different in Equimax and Zimectrin. Most feel that E is more economical to use. I sure would not want to medicate all of my chickens often, but I would try to find out which one has tapes. Removing the intermediate hosts of tapeworms can help to eliminate them. Pick up droppings with tapes and dispose them, and use fly repellent, as well as removing snails, slugs, and other possible hosts.

Tsc has both for the same price, but my location says they only have the zimecterin. I would have to drive 30 mile round trip to get the equimax and amazon wants $22 for it. I will check in store this afternoon and pickup fly traps. I haven't seen may snails or slugs.
Any tips on how to figure out who to treat besides seeing them pass a stool with segments?

Not really. You could treat them all, but not really necessary if they all don’t have tapes. I think I have seen it for $18 at my TSC, but prices go up every time I go there.

I got the equimax. Are these tape segments? They look like little round eggs. If they are, I am finding these in multiple chicken's poop 😞
