roundworm questions!!!

I just found roundworms! Been keeping chickens for over 5 yrs now....maybe 6, and this is my first encounter. Bout nothing else looks like roundworms, so I'm pretty sure that's what I found. So, I can ask my vet or check at the farm store for treatments, but here are a couple of related questions: what about my eggs? Are they safe to eat...before treatment and during? And what about my cats and dogs that roam the backyard with the girls? Doo I need to treat them too?

Toss eggs 14 days after the last dosing. Your dogs and cats cannot get poultry worms.
