Roundworms!!!

She has been lethargic, not really eating I think she has lost weight. Waiting on vet recommendation, I'm in NC. If they don't get back to me soon I'm going to go to TSC and get safeguard. Thanks for your help. This is first time dealing with worms all other fecals were clear.

I'm sorry she is not feeling well. Hopefully you will hear back soon from the vet with their recommendations.
Can you get her to eat/drink for you? Has she been able to lay eggs?

No eggs but I don't think she's been laying got her as adult and don't know her age. She's only eating a little bit

My TSC only had equine safeguard paste, read that it can be used. I used about pea size amount. Should i give a little more? Vet still hasn't called they don't see chickens but they'll do fecal.

She really doesn't like being in the house, would it help her if she's outside scratching?

I would put her outside if she's stressed. Let her with the flock if she's not being picked on. If she is, a large kennel setup in the coop/run would help give some protection and she can still be with them.

Yes you can use the Safeguard paste - dosage is the same - 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally 5 days in a row. Just take one of your syringes, stick it in the end of the tube and draw up the correct dose.

(just say "no" to pea size dosing. Everyone's perspective on what a "pea size" actually is differs. Whenever possible use a known "measurement" for dosing. Older threads that you may find do say "pea size" but now we have more current information:))
