Roundworms

I was out with my girls this afternoon when one of the pooped and a roundworm came out. It was about three inches long. She is one of our really good laying hens. Do the worm affect the eggs and how can I get rid of them! So grossed out right now!

Purchase Valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer. Dose each chicken 1/2cc orally undiluted with the liquid wormer. Use a syringe without a needle to administer. Repeat dosing in 10 days. Discard eggs for 14 days after the last dosing. Here's a link where you can buy it:

I See that you said after the last dose discard the eggs for 14 days. How many doses do they need?

I would treat them all. (I get grossed out too)
