Hello experts! So I have an aviary right now with some mandarins in it and hopefully hoodies this fall. If that goes well then a year or so down the line I would like to get a pair of ruddy ducks after I have some experience with divers. In researching them I have heard that they can take over the whole pond during breeding season so I was thinking that a separate aviary and pond would be best. If I just had one pair what would be the minimum size aviary and minimum size pond? Since it sounds like they spend almost all of their time in the water would there need to be much in the way of ground space? Thanx a bunch guys, just thinking future plans here.
