Rumpless Roo..........??

These are the best pics I could get because he kept moving around.
I was told he was a Araucana but .............????
He is not a big bird, not bantam size but closer to a full sized bird.
She is giving him away, she's afraid of him.

Any ideas?

That's about as rumpless as you get but if she's afraid of him do you really want him for breeding stock?

im no breeder of those birds,but i do know the comb is wrong and so is the leg color....

This boy shows more of a Quetros breeding with the comb, and Collonca with the lack of tail; though the legs are wrong, if memory serves. I have some Araucanas out of double-tufted pea-combed rumpless birds that have combs and tails... From what I have read and seen, they do not always breed true, but he may very well be a cross.

WHOA no that is NOT an Araucana. . . Araucanas do not come in that color, do not have single combs, and do not have such huge waddles. It looks to me simply like a rumpless bird like an RIR or something. Rumplessness can pop up in any breed.

Thank you for your identification of him. I thought he was not a true because of his comb but it sounds like a throwback default.

Well the guy sold it to her as a rumpless Araucana but that doesn't really mean anything. People say all sorts of things to sell a bird.
