This bird showed up in the yard today. It's very fast, haven't been able to catch it yet. I assume it belongs to a neighbor. Going to find the owners, I'm just curious about the breed. It's pretty small, about half the size of my EE hens. I sold 3 flock members yesterday, and my girls were calling for them all morning, I guess this girl answered the call 🤷

I agree with Egyptian Fayoumi. Mine is very fast and skittish too. Good luck on finding her owners!

Caught her and returned her! That was not easy, took me and both of my older kids to corner her and finally get my hands on her. She screamed bloody murder the whole way home 😂 However, I did score a contact for some eggs should I want some, owner has a house Rooster too. Makes me wonder how many other people bring their Roosters in at night in order to keep them in areas not zoned for it.

Now that you know who the owner is, maybe let them know what's happening, since it seems she doesn't go home in the evenings. Their enclosure needs to be more secure. It really isn't your job to constantly catch her for them, even if you don't mind.
