My Coop
My Coop
DH and I have been building a large coop and run for the last few months.
Where in the world do I put the feeders, or the dust bath? I live in the PNW of Oregon, beautiful warm summers & wet nasty winters. We just had a pretty windy storm and I’ve noticed that even though the run is covered it’s still getting damp inside the whole run. How can I keep either of these things dry whilst still keeping them in the run?
I’ve included pictures of the coop/run and the DIY PVC feeders we just made.

Put them behind a windblock. A couple of pieces of corragated roof attached to the exterior wall and then mount those right behind it may work. Wind blowing the rain is most likely the culprit. If you can do this where the coop meets the run you have blocking on 2 sides.
