Good day all.
In a previous thread we were looking at ways to fight boredom of the girls as they were getting violent. We decided on a simple portable run extension. My girlfriend spent all day working on it and she's proud of it, but a thought suddenly struck us.
As in the photo, the extension is under our Mountain Ash tree. The tree produces thousands of red berries. This attracts a lot of local birds (mainly chickadees). They may perch in the trees above, and poop on the extension below.
Is this going to be a huge issue when it comes to potential exposure to disease?
