Jess nickered back unsurely, head cocked in confusion. We just met? She thought, throwing a look towards his sister.

Vermilion rolled her eyes. Turning around, she gave Azure a stout kick to the rump. "Knock it off, birdbrain! That's all you think about."

"I'm a stallion. What else am I supposed to think about?" Azure spun around, so his sister couldn't kick him again.

Jess watched amusedly at the interacting siblings. I wish I had a brother to mess around with, she thought sadly. She snapped out of it quickly and smiled.
