As Piper spoke, a hollow feeling opened up within Garron's chest. The one advocate he had - or thought he had, rather, seemed to be siding with Scar. Garron didn't feel safe in his own home, where he had been born, and he was more than certain that Scar had sinister plans in store for him. He could tell, just by the dangerous glare he'd given him when they'd met. Zero didn't believe him. Wildfire wouldn't believe him. And now, Piper didn't seem to believe him, either. Was he alone?

"...Alright. I understand." Garron didn't reply for several seconds after Piper had finished, and when he did, he rose to his paws and began to pad away.

Piper leaped up and took a step after him, "Garron...I believe you. I don't doubt Scar doesn't like you...but.....I was talking about me. He's my brother...I...I have to give him a chance!" She looked down, averting her eyes from Garron's stare.

Garron paused, but didn't turn around to face her. "Piper, I said I understand. Don't worry about it." The thing about it was, Piper didn't realize that Scar overpowered Garron for miles; if they got in a fight, Garron would be scrap meat for the vultures. If he valued his life, he needed to get on Scar's good side, and that involved not being friends with Piper. The way Garron saw it, Piper was choosing Scar over him; and of course she should, because Scar was her brother, after all. But Garron couldn't help feeling more than just a little abandoned as he loped off further into the woods, his ears constantly twitching as though something was lodged in them.

(Hm... we may need to fix that

"Are we gonna hunt, or what?" She barked.
"That's what we're here for, isn't it?" He sniffed the air trying to catch the scent of a prey item.
