Faedon dug a pit for Quartz right next to the one Cedar was burying; since Quartz and Neb had been mates, Faedon figured that they'd have wanted to be buried close to one another. As Faedon and Cedar dug the graves for Quartz and Nebrivo, Senkah brought the pack to the burial grounds. Faedon's paws became slick with mud as she dug the pit, and when she was finished, she stepped back and gently placed Quartz into the grave. As a sort of goodbye, she pressed her nose against Quartz's, ignoring the scent of death that was growing increasingly stronger. Faedon felt her heart give a lurch as she noticed that Quartz's body had become stone cold. Not wanting to cry in front of her pack, she began to cover Quartz's body in the dirt, her motions rushed.

Zara followed Senkah and the pack. Her head was low and she was full of grief and anger. *If it wasn't for Darkpack, they would still be here!* she thought angrily. Zara sighed quietly to herself and watched as Quartz was buried.

Cedar filled in Nebrivo's grave, taking a little longer because of her injured legs. She gently nosed a few stone onto the fresh mound of dirt. Rest together, Quartz and Nebrivo.

Senkah bowed her head when the graves were filled. "Quartz, Poppy, Nebrivo, Willow... May you rest peacefully here. The Pack of Lupin awaits you; may the prey come easy and the weather fair. Your deaths were not in vain, and you will be avenged. You were all loyal, true packmates or Stonepack, and you will be missed."

Hades sat beside her with his own head bowed, his face grim.

"Even Willow?" Echo asked. "She was loyal and true?"

"Yes, she was, stupid!" Fyra snapped, jabbing at her sister with a paw. "More than you'd ever be!"

Echo fell silent.

Senkah gave Echo a glare that could chill bones.

Faedon looked over at Fyra. "Where'd you guys bury Willow?" she murmured. Cody hadn't even bothered to come and honor Quartz, Nebrivo, and Poppy; he just sat riveted to Willow's grave, unable to cry anymore.

Zero paused when she saw Kludd returning with a loner. "Kludd, who's this?" She wasn't wary, necessarily, but she certainly wanted to know what was going on.

"This is Kira " said kludd "I just met her ,she is looking for a place to rest for a bit ...or...maybe...permentley. I said that you might offer her some refuge? What do you say?" Kludd said with a bit of nervousness as he had only been their a couple of months and did not know how Zero would act.

Kira waited, hopeful and nervous.

"Up on the mountainside," Fyra muttered.

Faedon resisted the urge to growl at Fyra. She wasn't the only one grieving the loss of Willow. Faedon rose to her paws and began to pad up the mountainside to Willow's grave.

"I say she go find her own spot," Trista growled, her brown fur bristled.

"Trista, nobody asked for your opinion," Zero growled, before she turned back to Kludd and Kira. "Unless she wants to join Pinepack permanently, the answer is no. We are just getting by as it is, since it's winter; we don't need more mouths to feed that aren't contributing anything.
