Destoe followed Kodiak to his den."Alright." Kodiak turned away from Klash, making sure to fling a few bits of gravel in his face as he did so. "I'll meet you in my den."
( instinct?)(...How does a wolf find out they're preggo...?
(Maybezzz...)( instinct?)
(Mkayz)(( I've just got so many subplots to manage right now. Maybe later. ))
As the entered Emeraldpack border, Ferns breathing had become even more labored and raspy. Blood dripped from he nose, mouth and her bitten leg. She was limping heavily and barely could stay on her paws
Kyra and Leah stepped out of the den, watching Fern "Is she alright, Did you get the pup back?" They asked together
Fern could make no answer...she collapsed on the ground, shaking all over with sobs that she just couldn't find the breath to utter. Her side was swelling over her broken ribs and she started to cough up blood again.
Destoe followed Kodiak to his den.
( Hope it is okay, Owl, that I time-skipped. )
A few days had passed and Fyra's bullet wound was gradually healing, though it had a long way to go. If she moved her shoulder excessively the pain was excruciating, and even just a simple jog felt like wildfire was raging on her leg. Her thoughts weren't on her disability, however, and the fact that there was a possibility she'd remain slightly crippled for life. It was on something nearly a world different...
Cody.
Just the sight of him was enough to make her hide her bad temper and rash reactions for fear of upsetting him further; after all, he was still grieving over the loss of his first love- Willow.
Willow. That wolf made her rethink her possible crush on Cody... It was obvious the he-wolf still loved her even though she was probably loyal to Lupine Pack now. Wherever Willow was and whatever she was doing, Fyra wished her well--Fyra just wished she didn't cast such a dark shadow over her and Cody. Her presence lurked everywhere in the Stonepack densite, her spirit grasping even the nooks and crannies. Wolves didn't understand why she couldn't bear to even look at Willow's old den but demanded it stay there, unharmed. She couldn't explain...
She never would be able to.
