Aki yawned and stretched, dragging his nails through the soft dirt. A gentle breeze filled his nose with the scent of pine. He looked down at Mari and smiled. Then he glanced back at West, he shook his head, he wondered what Hades would think of this emerarldpack turned Darkmutt pup. He looked around the den site to see if any food was left, there was still plenty of deer, he ate his fill, then laid in the warm morning sun.

Mari woke, and yawned. She blinked, got up, and shook herself. She looked down at the flattened place where Aki had slept. Then she remembered West. She peered into the cave and saw the pups figure. She stretched and padded out of the den. She walked over to Aki, and sat down beside him, and licked his fur. "Good morning." she smiled.

Ebony snarled, and watched them go. He still smelled a faint scent of Beechtreepack in the air though, Lilly he thought happily. "Atra? I'm going to go find something to eat. I'll meet you at the dens." and with that he padded towards to smell. "Lilly?" he called quietly.
