"I g-g-got it from the bank by the river." Lupin gasped. Nebrivo tore off, running so fast the dirt behind him was flying everywhere.

"Lupin!" Quartz yelped, "Was there anything wrong with the lichen? Was it brown or something?"

Nebrivo arrived at the place where Lupin got her lichen... wolf lichen! (this is toxic to mammals like wolves) "Noooooooooooooo!" Nebrivo howled!
 
Lupin was starting to lose consciousness. She had eaten a lot of the wolf lichen. at least a 12 inch size patch. The image of Nebrivo running into the den was beginning to fade into black. Then, she fell asleep.

"Lupin!" Quartz said, putting a paw on her shoulder, "Lupin!"
 
"Lupin, you ate wolf lichen! That's poisonous!" The once carefree Nebrivo was now very serious. "Oh, Nebrivo! Am I going to die?!" "Maybe. We might be able to flush the lichen out with water." Nebrivo said, his brow wrinkled with concern.
