"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Neb howled, tears running down his eyes! "No, Lupin! No!" He fell to the ground and nuzzled his deceased mate. "No. No. Not you..." He whispered, silently, tears streaming down his cheeks. He looked up, and saw Mel. "She's... she's... dead!" Neb said.

Lupin lifted her head to look at Nebrivo. But she couldn't see him. He was just a silver blur. Her vision was unfocused. Then, everything began to fade to black. She rested her head on the ground and sighed. Then she closed her eyes. But right before passing, she gasped "Neb- L-l-l-love... *gasp* you." then, her head fell to the ground. Her eyes closed for the last time, and she fell asleep for the last time.

Aki's heart sank at the loss of a pack mate and hurt for Neb's pain, he threw his head back and let out a long mournful howl.
 
(What does the pack do with dead wolves? I mean, the body isn't gonna stay in their den, is it?

"Ok get some water" Yuki said, the pups scooped up water on there's leaves, alot fell out but there were still some. Yuki led the pups to a large tree and about 5 paves away from it different buds of herbs were growing "Ok now spill some water on these" Yuki said
 
Neb howled with Aki. Their voices combined was an amazing sound. One like no other. It was enough to make the whole pack howl.

Yuki shivered hearing wolves from far off howling "whats that?" Rosemary asked innocently

Quartz, who had heard Nebrivo's howl, raced for the dens. Please let Lupin be okay!

When the sad howl hit Quartz she knew what had happened...there was nothing she felt like she could do but throw up her head and join the mournful chorus.

(I honestly don't know. Eek, I forgot about Cedar after she died! I guess they could bury them since wolves don't have many options for a dead wolf.)
 
(Quartz and Lupin were friends. Pretend Lupin said bye. Neb will pass the message.)

"Quartz... Lupin told me to tell you that she loves you."
