Quartz closed her eyes and howled to the setting sun, a tear trickling down her muzzle as her heart shattered into a thousand pieces.

(Can it be sunset? Just thought that would make a beautiful final picture of the scene.)

The howls died down, though Nebrivo's howl outlasted all others' howl. Finally, he looked down at his mate one last time. "G-goodbye, sweet Lupin." he said, choking on the lump in his throat. 

Aki looked at Nebrivo. "I'm so sorry." He whispered sincerely.

Nyx was about to leave when Stonepack's voices stopped her as she wondered what was going on.

"What's going on?" She asked Nyx worried and looked at Akira and Koga

"We don't have much time to give Lupin a funeral, so we'd better hurry." Neb said. Then he howled: "All Stonepack Members are allowed to attend the funeral for Lupin of Stonepack! Please attend! We will begin as soon as all are present!"
