Mari pelted through the woods, as fast she could go with the weight of the pups slowing her down. "Aki!!" She howled, and skidded to a halt infront of her mate. "Aki, oh Aki." She murmured, and began licking him furiously, to stop his bleeding. "Aki, please, say something!" She barked, firmly, but gently.
West nuzzled her. "Thanks." He sighed, then he looked into her eyes "is your sight getting any better." He asked, hopeful.
Aki lay limp in the melting snow, his breath was ragged and labored, his eyelids fluttered as he tried to open them.
