He licked her muzzle. "Should we head back to camp?" He asked, looking at the moon, which was high in the sky now.

After a little while Nikki shot awake again, her flanks heaving. She relaxed when she realized where she was.

Sunfire growled, making sure to stay by Mist's side in case Twilight chased them. He looked back when they entered the camp to ensure that Twilight was gone, then looked at Mist, his sides heaving from the run. "Are you alright?"

"Only if you want to." Scarlet murmured, watching the sky.

"You alright?" Chayton asked, alarmed.

"Mm hm." Mist whimpered, though her whole body shook uncontrollably.

Wind nuzzled her.

"Yeah..." She said, "just one of those weird dreams where you feel like you're falling, then you wake up."

Sunfire touched her with his tail to comfort her.

Scarlet smiled, curling her tail around her paws. "So many stars.." She breathed, leaning against him.

"Oh, ugh, I hate those." Chayton grumbled, "You sure you're alright?"

Mist shivered at the touch, closing her eyes tightly. She was silent for a moment before speaking. "Sunfire.." She said timidly. "Would Thunderpack really kill me without second thought?"

"Almost as beautiful as you," he whispered, entwining his tail with hers.

"Yeah," she said, getting up and stretching. She took a bite out of the deer they had caught earlier.

"Of course not!" Sunfire seemed surprised that she believed Twilight's words.
