Wind's entire face lit up. He wrapped his neck around hers. "I have been waiting for that for a long time," he whispered. "You are my world, Scarlet."

(Aww!)

Spottedleaf almost instantly fell asleep on her mother's back, while Thrushpelt sulked. Lightning picked up the fishes they had caught, before heading back to the camp.

Nikki's eyes fluttered as she heard the deer and elk stampeding in the distance. "Is something happening?" She slurred.

"Well I can't imagine why they hate you," Sunfire spat scornfully. "I was a loner for most of my life before I joined Ameroq!"

Scarlet's breath caught, and closing her eyes whispered; "I love you Wind."

(Awwwww!)

Elan followed, making sure Timber didn't slip off. Meadowlark yawned audibly, then cuddled up with her mother's fur.

"Don't think so.." Chayton said, scanning the herd.

"You aren't me. They'll kill me without second thought! I'm just a crazy old she-wolf with no common sense! Well let me tell you something, I have more sense they will ever have!!" Twilight screeched, shaking her head crazily. Her voice was shrill, and rang through the forest with a sharp pang.
Mist whimpered, pressing against Sunfire.
 
"I love you too, Scarlet." He whispered, giving her a nuzzle. He looked into her eyes, feeling as if he could stand there forever.

Lightning padded into the alpha's den, laying down in the bed of soft moss and bracken.

"Mm," Nikki murmured, before she dozed off again. Her last thought before she fell to dizzying blackness was, I think I have a small crush on Chayton.

Sunfire spat angrily. "Come on, Mist, let's go back to camp."

Scarlet felt her heart flutter with happiness. She smiled warmly, staring back into his eyes.

(Aw!)

Chayton smiled at her, resisting the urge to nose her cheek gently. He forced his gaze back to watch the sky and the field.

(Heehee!)

Mist nodded, turning, and started walking back. She felt her fur prickle as Twilight's shrill voice reached her once more. "Remember my words MIST! DON'T EVER FORGET THEEEM!!!"
 
He licked her muzzle. "Should we head back to camp?" He asked, looking at the moon, which was high in the sky now.

After a little while Nikki shot awake again, her flanks heaving. She relaxed when she realized where she was.

Sunfire growled, making sure to stay by Mist's side in case Twilight chased them. He looked back when they entered the camp to ensure that Twilight was gone, then looked at Mist, his sides heaving from the run. "Are you alright?"
 
(Sure! Scarlet and Wind just became mates, and Chayton and Nikki are spending time together.)
