Blizzard stood and wondered towards the edge of the den site. He saw Quartz and Hollystep. "Hey." he smiled as he walked up.

Quartz glanced at him. "Oh, hi."

"No. It- just-" Lightning got her words out in between gasps for air, "it hurts so much, Elan!" Her sides gave a massive shudder, and the first pup was born.

Quartz glanced at him. "Oh, hi."

"Hello" she said quietly.

"Do either of you want to go hunting with me?" He asked, looking at Hollystep, he hadn't seen her around the den sites much.

Elan smiled, and licked it gently. "You're doing great Lightning." He said, his voice low and soft.

Aki dashed through the forest, crashing through brush as he entered the den site. "Mari?" He panted, his legs shaking.

Mari rushed from the den, "Aki!" She cried. "Are you okay?"

Lightning gave a few more pants and gasps, before her sides shuddered and the second was born.

Sky shivered, fear slipped through relative peace. Spinning around her eyes widen, a wolf stood not more than a foot away. How could she be so, stupid. Wearily she looked at the wolf, much larger than her. She was not yet fully grown but this wolf still was at least two inches taller than her. With very broad shoulders. She did not know what he wanted so she whined and exposed her neck.
