Kia dropped the fawn..She had heard something, moving closer to a fallen tree she saw movement.." Who is there.." She said a defensive edge to her voice..A tiny whines were her reply, she gasped..Hurrying over she saw two tiny pups..Remains of their birth still clung to them..Kia growled, what cowardly wolf would leave their pups to die..Their tiny bodies were huddled together..She could not carry both..Kia howled her pack not the far..
