I'm Talc," Talc said. Her voice wavered with nervousness. The moment she realized this she straightened and tried to look confident.
"Please Lightning." Fang said, keeping his posture lower than hers, "Let her stay."

Lightning looked back at Fang. "No," she replied bluntly. "Not until I get my mate's opinion on this." She then padded out, looking around for Elan.
Elan trotted up his head cocked. He eyed the new wolves suspiciously, "Lightning, what's going on?

"Fang brought back this Darkpack wolf," Lightning said. "He says that she wants to stay so that she can be safe and not fight anymore. I think it's a little fishy, considering that Darkpack just attacked and she wanted to join after they failed, but what do you think? Should she stay?"

(Fang joined Thunderpack a while back btw)
At the mention of Darkpack, Elan curled his lips back. His fur bristled as he looked over his mates shoulder at Talc. "Does she sound sincere?" he asked in a low tone.

"Yes," she replied, "but," she added, giving Talc a hard glare, "so did Cedar."
Elan growled. "Let's let her in.... but watch her. If she tries anything, she'll get the same fate Ceder did." he snarled.

Lightning nodded. She leaned over into his ear and whispered, quiet enough so that no one else heard, "I'll find a way to test her loyalty soon."

Lightning turned back to Talc. "Talc. We will let you stay here until further notice. But, I will warn you right now. If we get the slightest hint that you still are affiliated with Darkpack... it won't be pretty. And we will find that out soon, I can assure you." Lightning's voice was hard and unsympathetic. "Believe me, you do not want to find out what will happen to you if you still are."

Elan stood beside her, his face hard and grim. His yellow eyes seemed to bore into everything they looked at, and right now, his target was Talc.

Nikki sat by the river, looking out onto the horizon. She sighed sadly, looking down into the water. Will I ever find a mate? She thought sadly. She then looked back up. Beyond was the loner land, and far, far away was Thunderpack. She bit her lip as she thought of her sister, who she hadn't seen in so long. It'll take a least a week to get there... should I leave now? She looked around. Do I even want to leave..? Wait, what am I saying? Yes! I haven't seen Lightning in so long, and plus, Chayton's here... She felt as if an enormous weight had been placed on her back at the thought of the wolf she... loved, but didn't seem to love her back.

Fang didn't say a word, he watched his alphas carefully. but you could see in his eyes, that even though lightning and Elan's words were harsh, that he was delighted they had agreed to give her a chance.

Sitka's ears twitched. "I heard that." She wrenched a wing off the turkey, and nudged the rest towards him.

Blizzard sighed, his legs shook as he laid to eat, he hadn't realized how tired he was until that moment, 'when was the last time I slept?' he thought, he couldn't remember. he only managed to eat a little before he fell asleep.
from a small distance away Bella watched the happy pair, her mouth watering at the smell of a kill. she wasn't much of a hunter, and while senkah had said she could stay, most of the pack, hadn't had anything to do with her. and with out a mate to help her hunt, she was left eating mice and eggs.
