Yukon and Yukina trotted along the edge of the river looking for fish.
"You know she'll just leave you the same way Kyi did." Yukina snapped, Yukon had just told her the news of Dawn becoming his mate.
Yukon turned growling. "Shut it!"
"Why?" she barked. "Kyi broke your heart and all you did was mope for months!"
Yukon snarled, fed up with his little sister.
Yukina kept on. "brother became Alpha and she decided she loved him more!" she yapped, "So what happens when say May dies and the Alpha male is left without a mate? Dawn will decide she loves him!"
Yukon roared, his teeth flashed. "I said Shut It!" he bellowed, the dashed across the river into loner land.
"Humph" Yukina muttered as she lay on the bank.

Falcon and Thrush started to eat. The doe was not as big as other animals they had finished off in the past, but both wolves had eaten a while earlier and didn't need as much to fill them up.
