Shadow and Aki moved swiftly, closing in on the bull. There would be no sneaking up on this monster, their only option, a direct attack, wearing the bull down until they could kill it.
Aki crashed through the trees first, the bull startled and grunted, stamping his hooves.
Shadow circled around, and around, barking, lunging in, snapping and darting away. The bull lowered his antlers, charging and circling, swinging his razor sharp rack every which way.

Nyra darted at the bull, embedded her fangs into the elk's foreleg, and flipped back. She observed and watched his antlers scoop and miss Aki and Shadow. while the bull shifted his focus on the Aki and Shadow, Nyra striked.

Isis turned to Jay and his followers. "First, what are your names." She said looking around.

The wolf swished his tail a bit impatiently; he was in no kind of mood for being interrogated. If he was going to have to answer a bunch of questions, he could just go somewhere else "The name's Mocking Jay, and theirs are Silver Snake, Snow Holly, and Blood Sunrise."

West stopped in his tracks, he always had a soft spot for loners, and pups. He smiled at the pups, as he sat down. "Hi Beau, I'm West." He said calmly. "This is Emerald pack land, but if you would like, you can join us." He said moving towards the kill. He ripped of two pieces of meat and placed them before Akaree and Finor. West backed away and watched Beau.

Beau smiled "thank you" he looked at the pups and suddenly remembered about their parents. "Oh and do you know anything about their parents? Akaree and Finor were lost wondering around here." He said to West.

Isis stood, her head high and her tail up. "Welcome to Dark pack." She sneered, her eyes flashed with an evilness. "I'm Isis, and that's Timber, he is the beta." She turned, to walk back to the dens, suddenly a small howl caught her ear, she turned walking past Jay and his wolves.

Yukina was less then a mile away. She howled, hoping dark pack would answer her call.

Isis jogged up, her body hidden in the darkness of the forest. "Who are you?" She spat, "Are you with Mocking Jay?" She snarled.

Yukina's ear pricked up, 'mocking Jay is alive.' She thought. "No, I want to join your pack." She said bravely. "I can help you. I want to see Storm pack die." She growled.

Isis stepped from the shadows, "So join us," her voice was dangerous, she looked at the wolf, a plot twisting in her head. "Join us and watch every other pack crumble." She growled.

"No," West said sadly, "I'm sorry." he looked out at the border. "Eat your fill, and when you are done, you can follow my scent back to the dens. Just tell the others I let you stay." He turned and sprinted over the border, quickly.

Aki panted, he skidded on loose rock as the bull swung his head at him.
Shadow leapt to the side, racing up underneath the bull, he snapped his powerful jaws onto a leg and twisted, he heard the snap, the leg broke, Shadow raced out from under him afraid the bull would fall, but he didn't he managed to keep his footing.
Aki lunged at the distracted beast, snapping for the bulls face. The bull suddenly turned, Aki cried out in agonizing pain, the bull lift his head, an antler and caught Aki right between the ribs and hip. He bull tossed his head, Aki yelped, thrown like a rag doll, he flew through the ground, until smacking hard into a tree.
Shadow watched in horror, he jumped away and raced to Aki, the alpha was out cold, blood trickled from his mouth and his leg was clearly broken. "Nyra, forget the bull, we need to get Aki back to Senkah."

Jay turned to the she-wolf beside him, "Holly, go send the message about the plan."

Holly nodded, pelting away.

"No," West said sadly, "I'm sorry." he looked out at the border. "Eat your fill, and when you are done, you can follow my scent back to the dens. Just tell the others I let you stay." He turned and sprinted over the border, quickly.

Beau walked up to the carcass and started eating. It was nice to have good food for once. He walked in the direction west went and followed his scent to the dens. "I might finally join a pack" he thought and wagged his tail happily.

Ice Princess and Black Magic headed down to the river, their heads bent close together as if sharing a secret.

"Mom, I just saw Ice and Magic go down to the river and sunset. They still haven't checked in, and I remember the pack rule is to check in at dusk!" Arrow exclaimed.

"I'll check it out. Good job, son. Now off to bed!" May ushered.

Night had fallen over the lush Stormpack fields. A dark figure was standing in the bushes on the outskirts of Stormpack, concealed by the thick trees. Dawn, Little Cloud, and Faedon had gone to sleep; May was still awake, sitting on the Great Rock as she waited for the two wolves to check in. A few hours later, both wolves returned, plodding casually into the clearing. May watched them, her form invisible in the darkness. "Where'd you two go?" she asked them suddenly.

"For a walk," Magic shrugged, wondering why it mattered to her. "Why?"

"Because it seems that you forgot the pack rule: Report into the clearing at dusk." She was still invisible in the darkness. After the incident with Jay and the cougar many moons ago, the new rule had been created to help prevent further episodes.

"Well, anyways..." Black Magic changed the subject, "I saw something in the forest that you might want to take a look at. They look like tracks from some kind of animal, but I'm not sure what."

May furrowed her brow, deciding to ignore Black Magic and Ice Princess' mistake. "Take me to these tracks." Black Magic nodded and headed back the way she had came, leaving Ice Princess at the clearing. She entered the forest by the stream, retracing her footsteps through the forest.

Yukon trotted into the den site, he carried two fat rabbit, he looked around for Dawn.
