Zero climbed up onto a boulder, not far from Pinepack's densite. She tilted her head back and howled; it echoed across all of Pinepack's territory. The message she was conveying in her voice was clear: She and her mate were going to challenge this pack's alpha for leadership.

Azar barked after him, "ok! wait for me!" she raced after him. Her lean body brushing the long grass that swayed underneath her made her look fast.

Kylee could smell a rabbit somewhere nearby. She crept closer, ears pricked.

Wildfire threw his head back, his breath making white clouds in the icy air. The wait to take over PinePack was killing him. "C'mon, Zero," he said, "We must take over PinePack a different way."

Azar halted to a stop and heard the howl that came from Zero. Owe no... She thought.

As Kylee scanned the area, her eyes finally fell onto her prey: a large, gray rabbit with a white tail. She crawled towards it, eyes glowing hungrily.

"Hunter!" she snapped. "Did you hear that howl?" she wondered. she wanted to go to camp, but she had to stay with Hunter

(Did I, uh, kill everyone?)

(I know right! where is everyone!)

Hunter raced after her, but skidded to a stop suddenly. His body froze, but his ears swiveled around. "Do you hear that?" His voice had grim note etched deep into it. Two wolves wanted to challenge Needle and Kira, and they were out somewhere... this wouldn't end well.
