Lark could have sworn she heard something move around in the thick of the pine trees, but she didn't focus on that. She pressed her paws onto the back of the caribou's neck, causing it to fall under her weight...

Storm helped Lark drag the creature down, his teeth planted deep into the caribou's side.

Meanwhile, Starling and Nyx worked to take down a young caribou who had lost its mother. The animal put up a huge, healthy fight, kicking and screaming, but the alpha and packmate worked hard to bring it down.
