Hunter padded across the wet moss and dropped down to the river, a beaver swam past and dived below at the sight of him. He lapped up the cool water of the river and shook water droplets from his muzzle

darkfrost padded up to him. "hey," she ssaid.

Hunter back into the trees, "who are you" he said cautiously

"I'm, hunter" he said creeping forwards, " what pack are you?"

"I'm, hunter" he said creeping forwards, " what pack are you?"

"loner, i left the pack i was in, you?" she said, remebering her pack.

"Loner, I've just came across this land, it's full of prey" he said looking over her shoulder at a deer drinking on the other bank.

Hunter caution a strong scent, getting closer by the second. "Bear" he whispered, "run", he turned and disappeared into the trees

Stone rose to his paws, silently daring him to cross the border.

Mist noticed a different scent. "Wolf," she whispered aloud. Her tail wagged a little. She was excited because this may be her chance to join a pack.
