Lilly padded through a norther piece of Dawnpack, her stomach rumbling, she was so hungry and since she had disobyed and yelled and snapped at Twister she had been to afraid to ask his help with hunting. she stalked loudly through some heavy over grown thickets trying to scare up rabbits.

Twister was on the souther end of the pack's land. he spotted a big fat hare and quickly set up to ambush it, he waited for the hare to turn away and then raced forward, snow kicking up behind him, he barreled forward twisting and turning wildly as the hare ran for its life. he watched as the hare ducked into a small boxwood shrub, he drool and dove after it. he snatched it up, shaking it a couple times then carried it's lifeless body back to the dens. he ate half, the placed the other half in his sister's den.

As he padded through the undergrowth a strange bird flew out screaming that alerted him he was being followed

Salem stretched and yawned, awakening from a nice evening nap. He howled, hoping that his mate would come.

Zero raised her head. "Oh, hi Timber!" she smiled, her tail wagging.
"Hungry? I juthst caughth thish rabbith." Timber smiled through the fur, and layed it at her feet.

"Oh, thank you!" Zero thanked him gratefully, and gently took the rabbit's leg in her jaws.
Timber waited until she had a piece, then took one. He smiled at her.

Zero suddenly became a bit tense. "Did you see that loner Lacy and Thunder ran into today?"
"No." Timber's ears perked, then flattened. "What did he want?"

"I think he wants to join," she said. "He has Darkpack scent on him, though. I don't trust him."
"If he's got Darkpack on him, and he does join, I'll be keeping a close eye on him." Timber growled.

Zero nodded. After a few minutes of silence, she said, "Do you ever think life is... you know, lonely? I mean, we're in a pack, but... sorry, I'm rambling," she finished sheepishly.

"No, no.... yeah.. I do... sometimes." Timber's neck fur fluffed out as a cool breeze ruffled his pelt. "I've gotten used to it over time... though that's not easy."

Tawny returned to the densite a bit later with a couple squirrels. Her paws left tracks in the snow outside the densite, though most of the snow had been cleared away inside. Her stomach had noticably grown over the past month or so.

"Yeah." Zero studied her paws. "I knew a wolf..." she started, "who was a loner. I knew him really well... and I thought... he was going to be my mate. I thought he was going to join Snowpack..." Anger flashed in her eyes. "And he went and joined Darkpack. I was such an idiot."
