Hey, everyone! So funny, I haven't seen a duck egg for a month. Never home in the morning to see where they lay. My runner was missing for about three hours yesterday morning. My calls were standing around looking guilty. I think they were the lookouts. I saw where she's hiding her eggs this morning. They can't possibly be viable, right? What can she possibly be thinking? But, The only drake we have is a call, and I don't think he's been successful with her lol

It really doesn't matter if you have a drake broodiness is still in some of our domestic ducks breeds and even if eggs aren't fertile they will still sit. But no those eggs at least the ones over 7 days old aren't any good. So break up the nest and place something over it so she stays off, maybe place some other eggs inside her coop so she sees them there and maybe she'll start at least laying where you can get them and eat them. You never know though don't underestimate that little Call drake maybe do some watching and see if he is making progress lol
