Is the cord off her foot? If not need to get it off before it dries up on it. It's ok to open the bator for a short time. It's not going to affect those other eggs. Thats kind of grose that she eating her left overs lol but I bet she's just curious more then she's really eating it.

She should be up and walking and out of the bator by now and the rest should have made some sort of progress??

Guess we just need an update.

Hello ladies... update on duckling w/ambilica artery wrapped around knee and toes. It all came off fine, she was like a bull in a china store, knocking all the other eggs around. I checked in the bater yesterday morning and another duckling was hatching and the first duckling was pecking at the shell trying to help her out... it was cute. So now there are 2 ducklings and 4 more are pipping.
It got pretty stinky in the hatcher, so I called on Sally Sunshine and she said I could take the 2 ducklings out and the empty shells and put a clean wet paper towel over the dirty, yucky towels in the bator. I took the 2 out at 9pm last night and replaced the dirty towels w/a clean wet one and moved all the 8 (remaining eggs) onto the clean towels. Here are a couple of pics.

Hi, Help please... since I took these 2 ducklings out of the bator/hatcher last night, the other 4 that are pipping in the bator, have not had much advances for the past 12 hours. one was rocking shortly after I took the 2 ducklings out and this morning one other egg has advanced a little bit and has some (gewh--for lack of a better word) oozing out of one of the cracks/pips. But I have hot seen any changes in growth since early this morning!!!
what should I do? should I open the bator and help them hatch? THEY ARE ON DAY 30
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME!!
THANK YOU
