*~*Runner Duck Club*~*

I had been seeing a bit of a curl, but as he feathered out more it seemed to disappear. The other drakes aren't really showing much curl either, and I had them sexed. His size relative to the other ducks leads me to believe male also,he is a month younger but already as big or bigger than all of my females. but thanks for the hope. I just got 6 new females yesterday, so it's ok if he really is a he. :)

I agree. I love it when I get a nearly pure white one, but they can all be so interesting and lovely - some with a barely 'lavender' color and others with subtle spots, grey and/or tan, that make them look a bit like taffy. The black bills really set them apart from the other 'white' ducks. I wish their feet were black as well. I get some darkish feet sometimes, but nothing like their bills.

This looks more lavender to me than silver. Lavender would mean that your drakes parents both carried chocolate. (Brsl)

If you can see some faint chocolate colouring than this would confirm my theory! His colour looks different in both photos.

Which photos are you talking about. There are 3 different ducks pictured. Thanks
Linda

@apricotvalleywf I tried to get a better picture of him, but he is the most nervous of the bunch and now the big drake has started really picking on him. Anyway, this is the best one I got.

He's beautiful, whatever he is. We have one that's slightly more gray than this one and I've always called her gray, but I never have seen that as a color option either. Her feet are dark too though. I think it's cool yours has orange feet and a black bill. Very unique.
