Can I join? These are my grey runners, I have 9 adults and 20 ducklings, with more hatching almost every weekend.
The first two pictures are one of my better females. She has a very full crop in these pictures so she doesn't look her best.

GM. I do not have any ducks at all. I have decided to & going to order some Crested Indian runner ducks. How do you tell the male apart from the female ? My local Agway can get them . but a straight run. I will save on shipping from the hatchery.

I look forward to any advice. I do have chickens. I was hoping the ducklings & peps would have been together at the same time, but it didn't happen that way. I order by May 5th & they come near the end of the month. still have time to figure out housing as chicks ar just 2wks old

Ideal Hatchery.. I am not sure where Agway gets theirs, but he called & they can get some. They are $6 each & at least 5 must be ordered. These are suppose to be buff & white crested.

You can google sexing young ducks. It talks about the voice (females will quake and males will peep) and looking for the curling tail feathers on a male. But that is when they are starting to get feathers. Anyway, look it up and good luck! I am hoping my runner duck eggs hatch next Saturday and will be wondering the same thing! Male or female!?

ahhh your ducklings look so cute
