Elfie was two weeks behind in development compared to the rest - and for a duckling, that's WAY behind.

If you are not supplementing with brewer's yeast (brewer's, not baking, not winemaking) or B complex or plain (plain, not no-flush, not timed-release) niacin, you may want to start, just to be sure there's not a deficiency going on.

I started niacin and the brewersyeast 3 days ago.
 
Maybe add a vitamin-probiotic-electrolyte mix once a week, continue with the TLC, tell the duck how wonderful he or she is constantly. I kid you not.

And in about ten days, see how things are...

maybe 3-4 minutes. Just a few of them but when I let them out the next morning. I still had it out waiting for them and they all devoured it.
Ducks are so funny! They think everything like that is dangerous. Maybe they just needed the night to decide it was alright to eat.
