I had to put a black marker spot on the back of the head, they look so much alike right now

Oh man adorable!! Are those magpie ducklings? I wanted some of thise real bad! They are sooo cute! Glad they arrived alive:)
And nice your post office called you early. Ours would not allow us to pick up till 9 am even tho they were in at 6:30.... it was the longest morning ever! Haha.
Enjoy your baby birds.

Yes, they are unsexed Magpie put in for added warmth. The F/w Runners and Toulouse are sexed females.
I think my PO wanted to get rid of me a sap. I have bugged them for a week. Talked to both our delivery people and taken notes with phone number to PO two different times.

But they are all doing great. I can not take my eyes of them. Giving them today to settle in. Tomorrow is play time.

Love, love, LOVE these pics!!! Mine won't be here until June so I have to live vicariously through this thread. :) My final order was four blue runners, four fawn and white runners and three white cresteds.

You will be very surprised how fast the time will go by. And the temps outside will be much nicer so you can have them out for time each day. Nice green grass for them to nibble. All so much better than this cold, wet weather we are all having. They just grow so fast.

God speed. Linda

Thank you Linda, :) That's why I decided to order in June...Minnesota can still be chilly in the spring, even some June mornings can be a little touchy. But it sounds to me like much of the country is experiencing weird weather!
I hope everyone will keep updating with pictures! I would say help me with names but I already promised my grandson that he gets to name the ducks. :)

How many? Are your Magpies hatching or incubator? And of course when?
They are such pretty ducklings. And I can tell them apart because of the odd markings. Good luck with your hatch

Linda

8 magpie eggs and 5 ancona. In the incubator and they are due saturday! I am listening to them peeping in their eggs right now. Very loud one a sec. Ago. No bedtime tonight...
