*~*Runner Duck Club*~*

Ok thanks

Boys dont quack.... girls quack.
Girls start getting a honky sound and boys never do...
they take longer to get their adult voice as well.
They make baby noises for a couple weeks longer.
They turn into a raspy sounding version of a quack.
When i had all male ducklings once they were really chatty, make plenty of noise. But once you have a girl duck you will see the difference.
If i were you i would google the noises. I cant remember the website but there is one with real clear sounds of each.

soooo I guess I'll jump in on the thread... My fiancé and I are getting 4 fawn and white runner ducklings Thursday... she is super excited and I am excited to put them to work in my garden. We already have 2 2 week old mallard ducklings... my they grow fast I had them in with some bantam chicks and I had to take them out because they were running everyone over.
