GGBear thank you for pointing that out I meant to have NON before med. But I understand water fowl can eat the medicated now since the new drug isn't harmful but as long as I can get non medicated I will continue to use it.

hi an update on the egg situation went out this evening checked eggs the one tat had a crack in it does not seem to.be moving it's bill is not moving and there does not seem to.be any noise do u think it might b dead?

It maybe resting too it's hard to say.

These eggs are under a duck? if they are you should just leave them alone and let mom take care of the hatching. How far was the crack? you mean it was zipping out of the egg for hatching?

no its a chicken that is sitting on them there is just a small hole where its beak is

Okay so you can pick the egg up and listen because if it's alive you maybe able to hear peeping.

when I checked it yesterday morning its beak was moving and it was peeping quite loudly but last night as I said no movement and then this morning no movement no noise i said I wondered if 1 of the others had cracked it hence why I've moves her as they started fighting its been about 26/27 days she been sat

More than one duck sitting on the nest if that's the case good chance that is what happened and most likely the duckling wasn't ready to hatch.
