Runner duck has minimal voice, like a whisper. Is that normal?

This is our first runner duck and he's always been very chill and laid back. The older he gets, we notice he doesn't have much of a voice. His quack is much like a whisper. Is this a normal thing for runners?

Oh my gosh it's a good thing their voices aren't much over a whisper. My Runner drake talks every breath even while eating lol He sounds a lot like a frog.
