Runner Ducks And Cold Weather

Well the original plan was for everyone to live happily ever after in the same coop, but then mating season heated up and Tom turned into a possessive maniac...
So for the warm months I kicked all the waterfowl out of the main coop for the night, but I think the water girls at least could probably go back.
For now, the nighttime arrangements are Chance in his own box, then the ducks in a house, BB in a house, and chickens in the main coop. Crazy...I'll be happy when Chance and BB like each other enough to house together.

You still can’t let them sleep together? I had to put a fence divider up in the goose house so I could house them together. Once breeding season starts Love will be in the air and the pool. And probably on the ground too.
