"Plenty of time to trash the place..." :gig:lau That made me laugh out loud...like toddler rock stars!! So true though! Definitely want to see your latest set up...sounds promising!

I put this in my duck house when it’s cold and they are locked in at night. I only usually fill it half way or less.

Before I put it in a bowl they really made a mess. One night they disconnected the top part from the red base! They do party like rockstars sometimes!

This is what use to be one of my drakes bedroom when I had more than on Muscovy drake so now it’s the perfect place to set up a feed an watering station the walls are lined with vinyl and there is plastic shower curtain liner over the shavings maybe one reason they didn’t trash the place was they can’t all get to it at one time.

The heated bucket sat on the landscaping timbers and the food bowl off to the left of them.

Those are great ideas! May buy me an extra hour of sleep or so...

I've never allowed them the luxury of food and water near their beds....they would absolutely trash the place and be frozen popsicles in the AM!!

I can tell you my Runners are the biggest slobs I had no idea what that coop would look like when I went in yesterday morning last year they were in a different coop and on those extremely frigid days when they went in around 3:30 I tried putting food and water in many different ways none worked so it was nice to see this might work. My Runners and Buffs make My Muscovy ducks look like they went to manner classes compared to them
