RUNNING OUT OF FEED HAVE TO SWITCH HELP!!!!

I am running out of grower feed and no store in my area carries the brand I feed my girls. I have one bag of layer feed that I was waiting to feed them when they all started laying. I have heard that some people say to mix the feed when you switch, but I don't have enough and I really don't want to feed them layer. Should I just switch to some other feed or be better off feeding them the layer feed until I am able to get some more feed of the same brand?
