Rosepaw opened his jaws to protest, then closed them. He shrugged and laid down in his nest.

Smokereed finished searching around the entrance of the cave with no luck. Time to go in... He entered slowly, making detailed mental notes about which turns he made and when as he did

Floodlight went back to mixing herbs. Nearly out of juniper... Oh well, I should take some to Bramblestar. She delicately snagged two of the berries on her claws and set them inside a leaf wrap.

“This’ll help Bramblestar get his strength back while he recovers from the sickness,” Floodlight explained. “Being sick for a moon can have its effect.” She took the leaf wrap gently in between her teeth and padded out of the den with it. She came to the leader’s den and called a greeting through the leaves in her mouth.
