*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

“Oh, okay.” She pushed herself into a sitting position and licked her ruffled fur. “I wondered if it was okay for me to walk around a bit.”
"If I support you I think you can." He mewed after a moment of thought and stood

Feathersky waited patiently for Floodlight's response

“Alright.” With Rosethorn’s help, she stood up and walked around for a bit, enjoying being able to stretch her legs again. Her growing belly made her more awkward than usual, but she could tell she was beginning to recover from her ordeal.

“We got Snowfrost out,” Floodlight began with a sigh, but now Lilyflight is stuck in the Dark Forest instead. She traded herself out in exchange for Snowfrost. She would have died if Lilyflight hadn’t done it. She’s beginning to recover now, and her kits are too, but what can we do about Lilyflight?”

Rosethorn purred as they walked around camp together

Feathersky's tail twitched in thought. She opened her mouth to reply, but then an orange tabby emerged from a nearby heather. "I'll handle this one, Feathersky." He rumbled. Feathersky dipped her head in utmost respect to him and stepped back. "Of course, Firestar." With a final glance back, Feathersky left them to talk.

Firestar turned his attention to Floodlight. "As you may recall from your kit stories, I have dealt with the Dark Forest before. No matter what you do, they always fight dirty. They lie and cheat and pretty much never keep up their end of a bargain. They may say they'll give back Lilyflight, but they won't. You have to take her back by force and only the one of the sky can help with that."

“But Firestar, what is the sky?” Floodlight asked.

Snowfrost settled down for a small break, panting but happy.

"The sky is all around us. We walk through it every day and never think twice about it." He answered. "In this case, that is not what the sky means though. Right now, that sky is in your camp, sleeping soundly but also worried." He explained vaguely.

Rosethorn settled next to her and licked her ears contentedly

“The Sky is a cat?” she guessed. “Who? A warrior?”

Snowfrost purred and let herself relax, but just as she did, one of the kits moved suddenly and caused her eyes to widen.

He purred in amusement. "All will be made clear in time."

“But can Lilyflight last that long?” she asked, worried. “She isn’t expecting kits, but she’s older than Snowfrost.”

“Just the kits,” she responded to his look. “They always move right when I settle down.”

"Yes. She is strong and has a fighting spirit." He assured her.

She nodded, feeling comforted. “I just wish Blackblood hadn’t come to this,” she murmured, half to herself. Then louder she added, “Is it possible for Larksong to visit Blackblood in a dream? Maybe he’d listen to her and he comforted that she’s watching over him with their kits.

She wrapped her tail around her belly until the kits had settled down a bit, then she stretched out in the sun, somehow drowsy again. I’m either hungry or tired; and I feel huge, she thought wryly.
