*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

She nodded, feeling comforted. “I just wish Blackblood hadn’t come to this,” she murmured, half to herself. Then louder she added, “Is it possible for Larksong to visit Blackblood in a dream? Maybe he’d listen to her and he comforted that she’s watching over him with their kits.

She wrapped her tail around her belly until the kits had settled down a bit, then she stretched out in the sun, somehow drowsy again. I’m either hungry or tired; and I feel huge, she thought wryly.
He thought for a little while. "Why don't you ask her?" He mewed, turning around. He yowled her name and soon she emerged from the undergrowth. "Yes, Firestar?" She mewed, dipping her head in respect. When she looked up again, her eyes widened in surprise when she saw Floodlight. "Erm... hi." She mewed. She cast a quick glance to the undergrowth she had emerged from. There were clearly three kits tussling underneath a bush nearby.

Firestar purred in amusement at her surprise and that she had brought her kits with her. Larksong hardly ever let them leave her side.

Floodlight felt warmth, but had to get straight to the point. “Would you be okay with visiting Blackblood in a dream?” she asked hopefully. “He’s... changed since your death and I don’t think it’s for the better. Have you seen what he’s been doing?”

Her neck fur raised slightly and she shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I can't reach him. Since he's doing all these things now, he's going to end up in the Dark Forest and because of that, I can't go to him. There are some rules about visiting living cats. We can only appear to those who are no doubt going to end up in StarClan. I have been watching him, and I feel grief about what he has turned into, but I cannot help." She explained apologetically. At that moment, a black kit that looked exactly like Blackblood tumbled out of the bush with a squeal of delight. Larksong gave the kit a hard stare until it cowered under her gaze and slunk back under the bush. "Kits..." She muttered.

“I understand,” she sighed. “And... I’m sorry. Would it be possible for me to take a message to him?”

She hesitated, then nodded. "Tell him... tell him that our kits are lively and strong. Tell him that I love him and that I would visit him but I can't because of the evil he's turned into." She hesitated briefly before calling out "Ashkit, Shadekit, Hailkit!" One by one as she called their names, they ran up to her, eyes gleaming with curiosity. Ashkit was the one that looked exactly like her father. Shadekit was grey with some darker flecks of black and had his father's eyes while Hailkit was white with splotches of black on his ears and back. "Tell him what our kits look like and they really want to meet him."

“I will,” she promised solemnly. The vision faded, and with it Larksong and her kits, and Floodlight wasted no time in hurrying back to camp, her mind whirling.

Snowfrost lifted her head. Someone’s troubled. Well, it’s not wonder, with everything going on, but this doesn’t seem like worry over Lilyflight.... She sat there silently with her ears pricked as if she could hear an explanation for this feeling.

Rosethorn watched her curiously. "What's going on?"

Rosethorn watched her curiously. "What's going on?"
“Something weird is going on,” she said in a faraway voice, gazing out at the trees as if something extremely interesting only she could see was crouching among them. “Someone is troubled.”

Floodlight brushed into the camp without a word and disappeared into her den.

He watched as Floodlight hurried into her den. "Well, that answers your question of 'who'." He said sarcastically.
