"We also had to warn you of the dangers that are quickly approaching from the Dark Forest. We needed you to see that they are a threat and should not be brushed away and forgotten. They will come soon. They will destroy the Clan if you aren't prepared to fight back. By the Dark Forest taking you, the Clan and Bramblestar was alerted to the danger that they hold and should be preparing to fight back."

His tail lashed in annoyance. "I'm answering your questions, but it just isn't what you want to hear. You want me to grovel and apologize, but no. That's not going to happen. I'm giving you clear enough answers and you just need to accept them. There's only so much I can say."

“I don’t want you to grovel,” she growled. “I want an explanation. You said it’s to have woken us up, but you could have sent a sign or another danger, or both! But you didn’t!”

"We're doing what we can. Even StarClan can only do so much to prepare you for the Dark Forest." His ears flattened in anger. They had sent many different signs, warnings, and dangers already to warn them, but they hadn't connected all the dots yet. He was getting frustrated, due to the fact he could explain very much and that Snowfrost thought that they hadn't done much, even though they had been sending signs like crazy throughout the past moon. "Remember ShadowClan abducting Flykit and Featherkit? That was a warning. It was meant to be taken as not even kits are safe anymore. The Dark Forest has begun training even one moon old kits now. Remember that fish that flew out of the water and in front of you when you were doing a border patrol? That was a sign. It meant you needed to be prepared for anything." He snarled "We've sent so many different things to warn you, but none of you are looking for the warnings and signs!"

“Maybe the problem here is that you have to be so vague all the time! Would it kill you to pop by and say, ‘Hey, you’re in mortal danger for the fifth time this moon. Just thought I’d let you know,’ for once?”

Bluetail and Feathersky had snuck away at this point. Bluetail was visiting Sunstrike and his kits while Feathersky was seeing Owlherb and Floodlight
