I get that kind of sounds like she’s dying. I meant she looked at him before she fell asleep, because of the whole he’s going to die thing :rolleyes:)
Snowfrost wrapped her tail around her kits.

“Momma?” Featherkit whispered into her ear.

“Yes?” she asked softly, looking down at him.

“Goodnight,” he purred, cuddling into her belly fur.

“Goodnight,” she repeated, licking him and then Flykit.

Flykit whacked Featherkit with her tail just because she could before falling asleep
(While she whacked him with her tail, she thought 'Haha take this mouse-brain! I may not be able to hear things but I have full control over my limbs and I'm not afraid to use them for normal sibling rivlaries!')

Immediately, Snowfrost was on her paws, standing protectively over her kits while they huddled underneath her belly. All her fur was on end and there was a fierce look in her eyes as she hissed and snarled at the circling owl.

Lilyflight sat up and held Skykit close, tucking him underneath her while her fur bristled.

Skykit stayed under her, looking up at the sky fearfully
(You know, even though he's in a cave and everything...)
Flykit mewed a protest when all of a sudden her mother was there, blocking her sunlight

“Stay there...” Lilyflight muttered. If he moved forward, the owl would snatch him.

Featherkit grabbed his sister’s tail and held it down, trying to communicate with his eyes that she couldn’t move.

The owl swooped dangerously close to where Snowfrost stood, and she hissed again, more fiercely than ever, and unsheathed her claws. The next time the owl came near, she slashed it across its chest, and it shrieked with pain and rage.

Flykit suddenly understood and she scooched further underneath her mother's belly, whimpering fearfully.
Rainbird dove out of the warriors den and raced to Snowfrosts side, yowling defiance at the owl
